We are the Norvell family and have embarked on an effort to offer our ranch, Genesis Springs Ranch, for exploration by others.  Genesis refers to the first book of the Bible and God's great creation.  The springs at the ranch bubble up and renew the ranch lands as well as the Nueces River as they flow into that beautiful Texas river.  We welcome you to come stay just to relax, to participate in a retreat or to venture off for a first class hunt.  Everything that the vast Texas Hill Country has to offer can be found on our 654 acre property north of Barksdale.  Crystal clear natural springs for swimming and fishing, vast open spaces, beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the top of amazing hillsides, hiking to explore and wildlife both local to Texas and from around the world.  We welcome you to come stay for a few days or longer and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
