Our name is inspired by the first book of the Bible and reflects on God's great creation. Genesis Springs is full of crystal clear natural springs that eventually feed into the Nueces River. The ranch must be seen to believe the beauty it holds. Scattered across the landscape are large oak trees, massive pecans, Spanish oaks, tamed cedar, and accessible terrain. The ranch features over 15 different ravines, offering endless views. With 440 feet of topographical relief and incredible 360-degree vistas, Genesis Springs Ranch offers everything you seek in a Hill Country ranch! We hope that you'll feel replenished and invigorated by time spent on the ranch while appreciating the beauty that God created for our enjoyment.
Our Story
We are the Norvell family and have embarked on an effort to offer our ranch for exploration. We welcome you to come stay just to relax, to participate in a retreat or to venture off for a first class hunt. Everything that the vast Texas Hill Country has to offer can be found on our 654 acre property north of Barksdale. Crystal clear natural springs for swimming and fishing, vast open spaces, beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the top of amazing hillsides, hiking to explore and wildlife both local to Texas and from around the world. We welcome you to come stay for a few days or longer and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
